Our dental team are very pleased to offer you the skills to help you achieve that perfect smile or just maintain what nature has given you. Dr. Regehr has been working with his highly motivated and skilled dental team since Oct 2000. We as a team and as individuals spend many hours updating maintaining and improving our skills to offer you the best dentistry has to offer. We also pride ourselves in providing that service within the B.C. suggested fee guide. We value you time and make every effort to run within five minutes or less of your scheduled time. As well as a highly trained front office staff that will assist you to maximize the use of any insurance benefits you might have.

Dr. David Regehr

Dentist

Dr. Regehr graduated from the University of Manitoba’s dental school in 1983. He went on to set up practice in Jasper, AB. Over the years he expanded the practice to a staff of 15 and continued to improve his orthodontics, surgical and esthetic surgical skills.

In 2000 the Regehr family moved to enjoy the warmth of the Okanagan and its abundant recreational opportunities. Dr. Regehr has a passion for all sports, especially adrenaline and cardio sports including kiteboarding, biking and skiing. His wife Beth, is a veterinarian who enjoys raising horses on the family farm. She helps their daughter Sara, who has won many awards representing Canada on the national junior dressage team. At the clinic you may also see their son Brydan, as he is pursuing a career in dentistry.

In 2009, Dr. Regehr designed a new state of the art facility allowing him to offer the latest and best in care. Dr. Regehr really enjoyed the creative process of designing and planning the clinic to the smallest detail. He likens this satisfaction to the satisfaction received in designing and delivering a new smile.

Kari

Certified Dental Assistant – Receptionist

Kari graduated as a certified dental assistant in 1978 from the Northern Lights college in Dawson Creek. Prior to starting with our office in 1992 Kari has worked as an assistant and a receptionist in Dawson Creek, Canmore AB, and Kelowna. With over 31 years of experience Kari’s knowledge of dental procedures and her expertise in dental insurance policies can make the financial end of your appointment a breeze.

Noreen

Receptionist

Noreen has been working in the dental field for approximately 20 years in total. She has been with our office since 2001. Noreen brings with her experience as a chairside assistant as well as a dental receptionist. Noreen is the hygiene booking specialist who keeps all of our regular hygiene patients right on schedule.

Agnes

Certified Dental Assistant

Agnes has been working in our dental office since 1998. She started assisting in the dental field in 1977. After a few years as a stay at home mom she returned to school graduating as a Certified Dental Assistant in 1991 from Okanagan College in Kelowna. Agnes had been working in the Vernon area for 9 years before returning to school to complete her Prosthodontic module in 2000. This training allows Agnes to be a greater asset to Dr. Regehr while assisting during crown and bridge procedures. Her experience and manner are very calming to our patients.

LeeAnn

Registered Dental Hygienist

LeeAnn graduated from the College of New Caledonia, Prince George, in 1997 as a Registered Dental Hygienist. LeeAnn has a long history with this office even though she was not formally employed until 1999. LeeAnn was a patient in this office since she was 10 years old and then worked part-time in preparation for her dental hygiene education. In addition to working in our office she has been employed in Armstrong and Lumby as well. We are really glad that she decided to “Come Home”.

Tina

Certified Dental Assistant

Tina has just rejoined the team after a move to Kelowna took her away for a few years. She now commutes all the way in to be with us. She graduated as a Certified Dental Assistant in 1986 and joined this office in 1988. Her dental knowledge is vast so if you have questions please do not hesitate to ask her anything. Her infectious laughter will make you feel at ease with even the most complex dental treatment.

Marlies

Registered Dental Hygienist

Marlies has had a varied dental career. In 1993 she graduated from Okanagan College in Kelowna as a Certified Dental Assistant. While completing her dental assisting she did her work experience in this office. Marlies then switched gears and completed her training in Dental Therapy in Prince Albert, SK. With this education she practiced as a Therapist in the Northwest Territories until she returned to school again. In 2000 she completed her Dental Hygiene education in Regina, SK. Marlies says she is now working in her favorite area of the Dental office and it truly shows with the gentle and caring manner that she takes care of her patients. Marlies has been working in our office since early 2001.
